Marc Josz

Former manager at ENGIE Group(ex GDF-SUEZ Group,where he spent his whole career. Marc Josz was born in Brussels on July 21, 1958. He first graduated as MSc in Civil Engineering (Université Catholique de Louvain, 1982). He subsequently obtained a MBA from the Solvay Business School (ULB, 1987) and a Certificate in Corporate Finance (CIAF, 1993). From 1983 to 1992, Marc Josz worked at Tractebel Engineering. In 1993, he went on to become Senior Advisor in the Corporate and Project Finance Department of Tractebel Headquarters. In 1997, he was appointed as CEO of Almaty Power Consolidated (Almaty, Kazakhstan),a utility in charge of electricity and heat generation, transportation and distribution in Almaty City and in Almaty Region. In 2000, he became Chief Business Controller of SEI. In September 2001, he was appointed as Regional Manager of EGI for Asia and as President and CEO of Tractebel Asia. In May 2003, he was appointed as Regional Manager of EGI for Asia and the Middle East. In February 2009, he joined Electrabel as CEO of Electrabel Customer Services. In January 2012, he was appointed as EVP Business Development of the business line Energy Europe (GSEE) In January 2016, he was appointed as Special Advisor to the EVP Europe
