Become a partner

Together, we help social-profit organisations move forward.

A partnership with ToolBox is not only beneficial for the sector that you are supporting. It also brings something back to your own organisation.

Plan a conversation

ToolBox’s strength lies in people who volunteer their expertise to organisations with a social mission. That commitment, combined with the belief that we achieve more together than alone, makes ToolBox a natural partner for Cera.

Boost your impact

For more than two decades, ToolBox has connected social-profit organisations with volunteer experts from the business world. In 2025, 149 organisations moved forward thanks to the commitment of 230 ToolBoxers. This was made possible by companies and foundations who, like you, believe in the power of collaboration between the for-profit and social-profit worlds.

What's in it for your foundation?

Your financial support enables a project, but its impact depends on the organisation behind it. When a social-profit organisation has the skills, structure and people it needs, your funding goes further and lasts longer. The research is clear:

The organisation’s capacity determines what funding can actually deliver

45% of social-profits cite human resources as their primary challenge, and 73% report an increase in demand for their services (Center for Effective Philanthropy, State of Nonprofits 2026).

In Belgium, 79% say they need external support, especially in legal matters, digitalisation and strategy (King Baudouin Foundation / Ipsos, Barometer of Associations 2024). The limiting factor is not the amount granted, but the organisation’s ability to turn that funding into activity.

Structural support translates into external impact

Among organisations that received support focused on their internal functioning, 93% report a strengthened capacity to deliver on their mission, and 90% report improved impact within their sector and community (CEP, Breaking the Mold, February 2025).

The effects of funding extend well beyond its initial duration

The same organisations show operating reserves twice as high as comparable social-profits, and 90% report strengthened long‑term viability. On the leadership side, more than a third of executives report reduced burnout, and 40% express the intention to stay longer in their role (CEP, February 2025). This helps prevent leadership disruptions that can erode part of a grant's impact.

Ways to collaborate

As a ToolBox partner, you go beyond financial support: you help the projects you fund strengthen their long-term sustainability:

Professionalisation

Fund the professionalisation of the projects you support by contributing financially, partly or in full, to the annual fee that social-profit organisations pay to ToolBox.

Strategic partnership

Become a strategic partner of ToolBox by funding its core structure and supporting its development.

Reboost Day

Create synergies between the projects you support by offering them a tailored Reboost Day: a unique day to share their professionalisation challenges and find solutions together with peers.
