The ToolBox social club is the place where ToolBoxers and ToolBox team share their experiences and insights on a variety of social sector topics. Our discussions are based on knowledge at global level as well as experiences within ToolBox and withing the sector.
For this first edition, the theme will be:
When the profit sector meets non profit organisations : hurdles and beauty of a non-expected collaboration ?
In your role as ToolBoxer, you bring a fresh and different perspective to the issues facing the non-profit organisation you support. This new and specific look on issues is ToolBox's “raison d’être”.
Many of you come from the profit sector, serving, as ToolBoxers, the non profit one. And, as you already know, there is no copy-paste possible from one sector to the other. In this context, many questions arise :
- What are the keys to turn this collaboration into a space for creating new, pragmatic and relevant solutions for the non profit organizations ?
- How can we ensure that we take the best of both worlds - profit and non-profit?
- How to strike the right balance taking on one end what profit culture can bring and aligning on specific non profit culture and issues ?
- Finally, what can these collaborations bring to you personnally but maybe also in your way of working ?
